April 12, 2024 - Cape Air is pleased to announce that it will return to the Martha’s Vineyard – White Plains route for summer 2024. From mid-May through June 26, 2024, the Hyannis-based airline will offer weekend flights with attractive fares between Westchester County Airport and Martha’s Vineyard then daily service through mid September 2024.
Chief Operating Officer Andrew Bonney said this reinstated route will offer a fast, simple, and valuable option for New Yorkers who want to visit the Vineyard, and the thoughtfully crafted schedule will allow travelers to maximize their stay on the island. “Our schedule will include afternoon and evening flights on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays and an early morning flight on Monday, so the weekend can begin sooner and last a little longer,” he said.
He added that Cape Air’s flights at Westchester County Airport operate from a private terminal adjacent to the main terminal, which simplifies road access and improves the terminal experience.
“Cape Air is always looking for opportunities to improve service for its passengers and that includes adding routes that help meet the demand for travel between the Vineyard and New York. “We’re thrilled to be back in the Westchester – Vineyard market,” said Cape Air President & CEO Linda Markham.
In addition to this return of seasonal service between White Plains and Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Air flies year-round service between White Plains and Lebanon Municipal Airport in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley. Cape Air also flies year-round service between New York (JFK) and Saranac Lake, NY. From Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Air flies year-round service to Boston, New Bedford, Nantucket, and Hyannis, Massachusetts, and shoulder-season service to/from New York (JFK).
