October 6, 2023 – Cape Air continues its support to the Caribbean region by reinstating non-stop service between San Juan and St. Croix. Beginning on December 15, 2023, two daily flights will operate and passengers can book their reservations now at capeair.com or by calling 800-CAPE-AIR.
“Cape Air has listened and responded to the demands and needs of these two communities,” said Linda Markham, President & CEO of Cape Air. “We are committed to the regions we serve and are delighted to resume non-stop flights between San Juan and St. Croix,” she added.
Lisa Hamilton, President USVI Hotel & Tourism Association stated “We are thrilled Cape Air will be resuming their SJU-STX service in mid-December. Increased connectivity to our neighboring islands allows more options for visitors traveling through Puerto Rico and stimulates the economy for both islands. Additionally, the benefits for residents traveling among territories are paramount as it allows a more convenient experience for locals conducting business, seeking medical care, or traveling for leisure.”
Cape Air has been offering affordable, convenient, frequent daily flights throughout the Caribbean since 1998. Cape Air operates the Cessna 402 aircraft which is a nine-passenger, low wing, twin-engine aircraft exquisitely suited for inter-island flights.
