Check In Time Requirements
We recommend checking in for your flight one hour or more before scheduled or posted departure times. Please allow additional time for busy travel periods. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but sometimes due to operational reasons we may not be able to do so.
At a minimum, please observe the following required check in times:
Flights departing from: Boston, Billings, Chicago, New York/JFK , St. Croix, St. Thomas, San Juan, Nevis, Tortola, Anguilla
- Check bags at our ticket counter at least 45 mintues prior to departure
- If you are not checking bags, and have a boarding pass from our website or from another airline, please recheck with a Cape Air representative at your departure airport at least 30 minutes prior to departure so that we can weigh your carry on bags and complete check-in details.
Flights departing from all other locations
- Please check in with a Cape Air representative at the airport at least 30 minutes prior to departure, even if you have checked in online.
For customers using our New York City Ground Shuttle to White Plains:
- Our ground transportation from Manhattan to Westchester County Airport, operated by Dashaway Limo, picks up and drops off passengers on the south end of Hudson Boulevard East, near the corner of 34th Street, adjacent to Bella Abzug Park. (Nearest subway station is 34th St/Hudson Yards station) Please be at the pick up location at least 10 minutes prior to departure time.
